studying

yeah well, nothing to write about at the moment, my days look all the same- reading books for university, doing some stuff in the garden because of that amazing weather and entertaining the dogs..
Its incredibly warm again, between 18° and 22° here, sun is shining, no wind- summer is back :-D
I hope that it will last at least some weeks, don't feel like winter now, I mean I love snow and I'm really looking forward to train the dogs more and more but we have about 6months snow so it can wait abit longer, and please, it doesnt have to be sooo much snow again, its ok with, lets say, normal snow :-D

ok then, off to my bed again- hee, not sleeping, but its more comfortable to read my books there ;)

Härnösand first week again at university :)

the city is devided in 2 parts, the "island" and the "mainland"

Monday morning I woke up 4am. It was dark, cold and I was tired. But i had to catch the bus in Skellefteå 05.50, so I needed some food and about one hour with the car to skellefteå-dont even think of the possibility for a bus from norsjö that early :-P
I arrived some minutes before the depature and I have to say it again, it was just cold, even if I already had my cosy jacket, still freezing *brr* But I was happy when I finally was sitting inside, had to go to Umeå and then I had to catch the second bus to härnösand. There's actually one bus from haparanda to sundsvall but it was so early in the morning. Anyway, I fell asleep directly and woke up just some minutes before we arrived in Umeå. With this bus I even saw the university there, big, very big, I'm glad that härnösand is so small, I always know where I have to be :-P I didn't wait that long because the bus to härnösand left just some minutes after my arrival and guess what I did- I fell asleep :-D I'm not use to it at all to get up so early, most of the time I wake up without my alarmclock between 7.30 and 8.30 but not 4a.m.

Anyway, after 5hrs of sleeping I arrived in Härnösand 11am, the reason why I traveled on monday was that I started 13.00, no reason to take the bus on sunday.
So I went "home" (where I live when I'm at university, a very nice lady) to unpack some of my stuff before I took myself still tired but somehow exited to university. Now I knew what I missed all summer long, the hills.. it goes up and down all the time so after that I've been even more tired but not less exited. I met a lot of my classmates again, a lot of them pregnant (quite scary I have to say) and about 100 people went into a room made for 70 people. Easy mathmatics-that doesn't work. But we somehow managed it and the guy infront started to talk. The schedule said 13.00 to 17.00 but after listening to a man, that came with all these useless facts, for two hours we were done and not that happy actually, cause I just noticed that it was so unnecessary to get out of my bed 4.00 in the morning.

But at least the next days seemed to be better and indeed, they've been that. Well, not all the time but lets say 4 of 9 lectures have been good, informatory, interesting and really funny, but some of them just have to work on how to present something without all the students sleeping, have to say everything still hurts from laying there trying to sleep some times..

Another useless fact about this week was my sparetime on wednesday, long lunch from 12.00 to 3pm, just for 2 more hours of listening. And I couldn't decide if this lecture would be interesting or not. But my experiences from the morning have not been that good so I decided to skip it, I went to McDonalds, read my book (from university ;) and enjoyed the sun outside, took some pictures and went home again, where I watched a cat walking on the rail, I waited 30minutes to see if a train was coming and the effect on the cat but no train so I was tired again of waiting and went home where I continued with my book and I have to say its one of these 30% of books from university that really are interesting.
Later that evening I chatted with my cousin, having a typical girltpoic-guys. We just found out (again) that most of them are just useless as a lot of other aspects and that a hot tub with cocktails would be way more interesting.. I even chatted with my friend from germany that is in Stockholm right now to study some months there, still looking more than forward to december when she'll finally visit me here up north-by the way the first one besides my dad ;)

Soo after I managed the rest of days of university I went to sundsvall to go to one of my favorites: IKEA and Bauhaus :-p didn't buy so much but its always worth looking at least ;)
On my way home I took the car and was back on friday around 22.00-tired :-D

ready for university :-)

so my vacation is actually really over, after 3months ;-)
today I had my last exam that I still had to do again because of one stupid point missing :-/ but I think (and I hope) that I dont have to do this again, otherwise I'd go nuts. So not much happened today, tomorrow I've gotta pack some clothes before I leave on monday this time.
University in Härnösand will start 13.00 on monday, it use to start around 8.00 so I usually are there sunday evening. Looking forward to see Inger again, the woman I live with when I'm there, she's such a sweet person and its always fun to be there and have her som company, feels like home :-)
But I have to say that my schedule does really not look that promising, have a lot of time inbetween like a really long lunch on wed., from 12.00 to 15.15, feels so useless to go there then but well, I have to :-)
what I dont like is that the lessons on the last day are to 17.00, I mean we are a class where everybody comes from another city of sweden, we have girls from stockholm, skåne and so an (yeah and me 6hrs away ;-)
guess I have to tell someone that they may change that because everybody got to travel several hours and on other days we only have lessons to 3pm or this long lunch inbetween.
Will see, anyway I'm looking forward, will be fun to study something again even if I'm already not that happy about our books, got two of them and they look very boring :-(

girls girls girls..

Decided to watch a movie with Johanna today and I am totally amazed by all that movies, one day I have to get them and lock myself in my bedroom for one week with some food and drinks, my gosh so many !!
But we could decide for one, well actually two so we watched "Did you hear that about the morgans?" with Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant - really funny movie- and "i love you phillip morris" with Jim Carry. Didn't really see all of the second one cause we were talking most of the time :-D Fun fun, thats for sure, looking forward to do this again, but now- off to bed

harvest time

Today I "harvested" ;) no I dont have a farm, just a lot of berries in my garden- raspberries, currants (red and black) and and and..
so it was time for some homemade marmalade, its nice to have some things you actually can use, you save money, it taste good and you feel like you actually did something, and you somehow feel proud ;) There are more, so I think I'll make it through the wintertime haha :D
next year when I'm (hopefully) done with the garden I'll plant potatoes and other things :) Maybe I should fix some corn in the garden and some trees so that I can make my own bred, I'd have fruits and vegetables, the only thing I'd have to buy are chips hahahaha :-P

Finouks birthday :)

Today its Finouks birthday, her first one :) glad to have her here and happy that Kira really love that dog, both have someone to play with and got a good life here :) summer is almost over and I think she's looking forward to the winter :-P

bbq, bubble pool and singstar- a perfect saturday evening

Yesterday I went to a friend for some fun and company, it first started raining ere at home, was quite annoyed but we were lucky and had wonderful weather all night long. smart as I am I forgot my cam *lol* but I can still picture it, was so funny hahaha. something I really enjoyed beside all that work in the house and garden. So after taking a shower I tried to find sth in my closet and as always, I really dont have anything to wear :-D now that all the clothes are laying on my floor *lol* but I finally found something to wear and left around 5pm to get there, I met some new people and we learned a lot about the new generation of cool kids from gregers son, the most important are certainly 2 words:

1. you dont say cool anymore, you say "g" now
2. its not "chill" anymore, you say "tshill" now ;D

So something really important you have to know if you wanna be a cool gangsta today- I mean if you wanna be "g" today ;-D and the best was that we even watched these music videos from cool swedish rappers, even their own creation (we were forced to, but it was funny I have to say, even if most of us just wanted to die immediately).

Then dinner was finnished, as I already mentioned we had bbq and potato gratin. After that our two teenager boys left the location with their motorbikes, Ida had to leave as well for some hrs so only 4 of us and a sweet baby where left, perfect for the bubble pool.
When I got in that 40°C warm water I felt like "oh my god, I'll never leave again haha". Unfortunately I'm not one of the tallest so I was almost drowning all the time, good that I could sit on them haha.

So after sitting there for hours Ida came back again and we started the Singstar session and  I was not that bad I have to say-not that one of us could really sing haha. But we had fun with our cowboy hats and sunglasses so singing was not really primarily ;-)

After quite some hours filled with food, warm bubble water and good laughters I left satisfied and went to bed, today I'm tired and lazy :-P
Definitely gotta do that again, pity that we didnt start with that earlier, now that summer is almost over..
Anyway, I have to say it again, I was NOT there because of that bubble pool, even if it was veeeeeeeeery nice to have one :-D

oh I had some nice days with my father, he came to visit me :) unfortunately was it rainy most of the time, but we had a tour with the longest ropeway, västerbotten/sweden.
fixed some electricity in the house as well, he was very impressed (not in a positve way) by that old stuff here in the house, so its always sth to do here :-)

funny thing is that the clouds full of rain left with my father :-D so now I'm just sitting in the garden, enjoying the sun and the warm weather :) but I'm sad that he left again, way too short that he's been here, hope he'll stay longer next time, but I''ll be in germany in  november so then i have some days with him again :)

so then, summervacation is almost over, just 2 weeks left before I've gotta go back to university.

Happy to go back again, but i cant deny that I like 3months of summervacation :-D

Will enjoy the rest of the time to finish some stuff in the garden an house and then I'll meet some friends as well :-) but no more visitors this year as far as I know ;)

new design

hey guys, I just tried some designs and could finally decide for one, quite some opportunities I have to say but its fun. I basicly did not change that much, just some stuff and small details here and there, if you can remember the design before you can tell me if you like the new one more or if you just don't care ;)

a day off

took a day off from all that woek today and spent my time swimming and just laying on the beach :) that was just great, amazing weather here so i enjoy being outside very much..
nothing else happened ;) but I guess I'll write something next week, lot of things going on then so watch out :)

tired

what a day *yawn* did not do that much, felt quite tired from working all day long the last week so i slept a lot today or sat lazy infront of the tv or computer..
friday and tomorrow I'll go to a peddlars market, maybe I find something cute who knows :-]

news..?

yeah, nothing really special happened these past days, I finished my bedroom as you can see, with everything like laminate and decoration and so on..

I do a lot of things in the garden and in the house right now, glad that its not as hot as it is in germany right now, they have up to 38°C, we only have up to 27° and even that is sometimes too hot to work outside..

oh and i had a lovely saturday evening ;)

visiting Moni and Tord- Huskyfarm in Lomselenäs

This weekend we finally made it to Moni, she is also from germany and moved here to sweden- one big difference: she's got over 30 dogs :D They own a huskyfarm where you can go on huskyadventures in summer and winter. They have puppies right now so as you can see, I almost left with anotherone haha :D no I'm kidding, I'm fine with Finouk (bought her there as well) and Kira.



We arrived friday around lunch time, she just came back from work and was busy-well she always is, who wouldn't be with so many dogs? :)They're amazing, how do they manage it? I just don't know but just as I said, I'm pretty amazed by the way they fix everything..



Here is one of probably a thousand puppy pictures, I just cant get enough of them, so cute :)I even helped Moni to feed the dogs, and I have to say its not so easy :-P



After feeding them (and us, we had cake instead of dogfood) the dogs had time to play as well, Finouk met her best buddy Hugo again, they're actually related, they have the same father :D I didn't know...anyway..



But not only Finouk even Kira had the chance to play with the others, they were quite interested cause she just had her heat (do you say that in english, dunno haha. So I had to follow her a bit to make sure that nobody tried to have some "fun" with her :-P they tried anyway but they had no chance xD




It was even Finouks first day in the tent but she trusted Kira as she always did and just followed and fell asleep. Yeah, everybody is tired after playing :)
And the day after she learned swimming, and she found out pretty fast that she actually can. Even here its good to have an older dog that shows her.

a trip to Finland- a mixture of shopping and sightseeing

Monday morning 7am on our way to Finland Haparanda/Tornio, it only took 4 1/2hrs with pauses inbetween, so university is longer :D

It was actually sunny all the time, just when we wanted to go somewhere for a walkout it startet to rain-typical. So we were not outside walking that much, dogs still enjoyed it, they saw a lot of new things and places, Finouks favorite was to watch the people on the camping.

I'm glad that they enjoy driving, they are always laying on eachother or watching outside the window, especially amazed by trucks.

So we arrived in Haparanda (the swedish side of the city) and the first thing we did was having lunch-guess where- IKEA :D Yes and here we go, that was actually the reason travelling to Haparanda, the next IKEA here is in Sundsvall and that would take 6hrs plus that you can't pay with euros in Sundsvall. And of course it was long ago that we've been to Finland so it was not only a shoppingtrip, of course we also wanted to see something :) So after checking in on the camping (in Tornio, so on the finnish side we unpacked the car and continued our journey to Kemi. Weather was great, but windy though.

Confusing about Haparanda/Tornio is, that they have different times. on the swedish side its one hour earlier than in Tornio. My mobile was probably confused as well, it asked me if i want to update the time to match the new timezone-nothing weird, but it didn't stop asking me and I could neither say "no" because it didn't stop asking me the same question so I actually couldn't do anything. And even when I said "yes" it asked me all the time again so while clicking on "yes" all the time it was suddenly 6hrs later. So I switched it off-funny thing: it even asked me when we were in sweden again.

So far was the trip quite funny, but I have to say the worst thing about Finland is the fact that you don't understand one single word, you cannot even guess what it could mean, starting with the word "center" in cities, it means "keskusta". Ok, I could check it before next time but come on, in almost every country you can at least understand "center".

As I know from a friend there is not really a logical part in that language. I only see a lot of i,a,ä and k, especially twice, there was only one similarity. I saw it when I went to LIDL (yeah, they have it in Finland too) where I was quite amazed, but they probably jsut tried to let the german word sound finnish? I mean come on, "braatvursti" ?? or "frankfurternakki" ??

So after long days of shopping and driving around to see something we spent the evenings on the camping, being lazy, watching tv. Dogs where quite tired as well, all these new impressions. But Finouk always takes the time to spent it with Emil, it's so cute to see them together, another kind of lovestory ;)

The second day in Finland did we spend in Kukkolaforsen where you can see rapids and a cute old village. We even had the possibility for a long walk in the sun, dogs enjoyed it :)

So besides all that nature we went to IKEA as I mentioned, actually wanted to buy new bedroom furniture for me, but for some reason they don't send beds, you have to buy it and transport it yourself. Stupid, how am I supposed to buy a bed with a Nissan Micra? Any suggestions? Or ideas why they don't send it? Bought a lot of other stuff -big stuff as well- and they send it, so why not the bed? aaah, annoying. I want my bigger bed-now !!! :-(

So back home again, continuing renovating the house but at first I've gotta sleep looooong tomorrow, my bed is a pillowparadise right now, guess Finouk will enjoy it ;)

royal wedding

Today swedens princess Viktoria married her Daniel :)

The dress was plain and simple, but I loved the bridal veil. Turned on the tv 8.00 this morning and watched it while painting the kitchen :-P 15.30 they finally entered the church and came out as husband and wife :) It was so cute, she was smiling all the time and Daniel tried very hard not to cry ;) all in all it was a beautiful wedding, you finally get the same feeling and desire to get married haha ;) but it was quite long, all that stuff around, all that music and speaches, poor Viktoria ;) 8pm the dinner will start and 11pm the cake, hmmm that will probably look very tasty..

So that was (well still is) the big day in Sweden, lots of people went to Stockholm, I was happy infront of my HD tv ;D and don't think that I missed anything, wouldn't pay so much money anyway just to see them..

I wish them all the best for their future life, they seem to be a very happy couple and I hope that they will have great years together..

bored? no I just don't know where to start !!

Sooo many things to do- the fence, plants, wallpapers, new laminate, walls to paint and and and..

glad that there's only the laminate left in my bedroom, next week I'll buy the new furniture :) but thats not it, beside all the stuff in the garden there are so many rooms left to do, and i just dont know where to start- 210 m² plus basement and under the roof.. still have to buy some stuff as well, so I actually need a bigger car to get the stuff home but I just checked, for a big transporter I'd have to pay about 300€, same with sending home from the store !! imagine, 140€ of that would be for the journey about 86km !!! Its driving me nuts, I don't know why it is so expensive to send something in sweden, they're weird :D

Anyway, today I cut myself, sometimes you should look where the nails are, otherwise it might hurt ;) Sun is shining, about 17°C and a bit windy- just in case you care ;D Kira is sleeping and Finouk is running around, looking for food-not that they just had dinner.. :D

Oh and my dear friend Anne got a blog now as well, she did that for the time she'll be in sweden, august 2010 to january 2011, she already started from her university trip to greenland, check it out, its great :) as long as you understand german ;)

working hard..

these past days I did quite some things in the house and garden, the fence around the 2000m² area is getting longer every day, same with the hedge..

Even inside the house a lot of things start to look more and more like rooms where people actually live, can you imagine that there still are movingboxes around here? well, not that we never opened them, but we but a lot of things back again because of missing space in that house-imagine, stuff from a 80m² flat in a 210m² house and there is no space? ;)

anyway, trying to finish the rooms so that we can place all the cupboards to put the right things in it. And next week I'll be in finnland for some days vacation with the dogs and my new bedroom furniture where this wonderful pink floyd picture already embellishes my bedroomwall now, finally did that today when the wallpaper was done :)

so I guess there is not really more interesting stuff to tell besides the fact that my dogs always take my stuff, here you can see how kira takes over the whole sofa, including my new IKEA pillow which is very comfortable I have to say..

the only highlight I had was -even if not positve- that I had to go to the emergency on saturday morning with my mum, but its ok again, nothing to worry about even if that day was just shit then..

Otherwise same old story every day actually, awake around 6.30am to have a walk with the dogs, then work, lunch, work, involuntarily sleep, work, dinner, movie, computer, sleep..

waiting for somethin interesting to happen but I'm not quite sure about that, decided to meet some friends in norsjö when I'm back from finnland :)

can you believe, Roger Walters is coming to sweden (well, everywhere ^^ ) summer 2011, "the wall" live :) that would be great to go there... but I just checked, haha- one ticket from 119€ to 319€ (!) depending where you wanna sit xD and dont forget the trip to stockholm :-P
good that there is x-mas and my birthday hahaha :D

*ha! just checked sweden (that were the tickets from germany) and there you only have to pay 86€ for economy :)

relationships

today I saw that program on tv about internet relationships and it made me think.. I really wonder how you can call something a "relationship" when you actually never met? how can you say that you love that person just by chatting and calling? and dont forget about the physical part..
anyway, I dont think that you can love someone or say that you have a relationship (that kind where you say you're not single anymore) when you actually never met.

sure, you can get to know someone via internet and you can have a feeling of attraction, even possibly have a feeling of falling in love-which is something totally different from actually being in love..

My friend asked me "are you together then when you finally meet?" yeah, what do you think?
can you say that you have a (love)relationship when you meet for the very first time even if you "know" eachother for lets say 3 or 4 years? gosh, imagine being together with someone for 2 years without having seen eachother one single time !! horrible, I'd die..

I dont say that you cant get to know someone via internet, but without even meeting you cannot possibly call it a real love relationship. Especially when you live far away from eachother..
But even if you meet then for the very first time you cant directly say "he's my boyfriend" :-p
first of all you have to see if it really fits, maybe he or she is absolutely not like it in person, who knows.. but everyone should have the chance to meet though :)

just be careful with the word love..
