Loke 2015-04-17

18 days earlier did he come, our little star Loke :-) 2485g and 46cm, friday april 17th 17:43.

It suddenly happened all so fast, i was in for toxaemia of pregnancy the last two weeks, but when I went for another checkup on thursday did they tell me that I should come back tomorrow so that we could start up for giving birth. I was in my 38th pregnancy week so our little boy was already "done" in there and there was no problem in coming out earlier.

So they gave me some extra hormones I started to feel that he was now ready to come out. They took me in for anesthesia somewhere between 15/15:30, in the middle of all that pain I asked Greger if he was certain about having another one :-P (but I took it back the minute I had that little prince on my chest ;-D ). My bloodpreasure by then was about 158/110, even after a lot of medicine, so my body tried to "get rid" of that illness, thats why everything was happening so fast, because 2 1/2hrs later- everything was over.

And there he was, our little prince :)

A lovely little boy who sleeps a lot, by now (11days later) he is awake around 2hrs per day haha :-) He usually only wakes up one time during the night when he is hungry, the rest of the time he is sleeping or cuddling.

They kept me in a bit longer to see if my bloodpreasure was going down and stable, so after 4 long days we were finally allowed to go home to the family and here we are, proud parents and somehow tired but happy haha :)

Next week its time for Greger to get to work again, Luleå this time so he will be away 7days and then at home for 7days during the summer :-) Me and Loke will just relax and hope for summer, already tested his new ride in the sun yesterday, was pretty warm as well and I noticed that I have to train a lot after these past months of not beeing allowed to basicly do anything :-P

But I have to say that the body is really amazing, only 9 days after, I've already lost 10kg and I loose more with each day passing :-) Almost fit my old jeans again :-P

spring

About two weeks ago spring arrived to the north of sweden, we have around 10* and sun. Thats quite nice and gives you a lot more energy. Even if I have to say that I dont really have energy at all anymore :-P Pregnancy is getting "heavier" the closer I get, laying in bed quite much doing basicly nothing, my feet hurt and I get constantly tired if I do too much (that even includes shorter walks nowerdays haha).

But thats fine, taking it easy is only a good thing, next week I will start to pack up some stuff from our appartment, we finally got a bigger one just right in time so we're moving the first of april to a 4 room appartment just around the corner :-) Then we only have a couple of weeks left untill the baby comes. So exciting! Its fun to have him kicking around inside, everybody is so sweet! The whole family is a part of it even when they cant be around all the time, Greger is sweet and cosy with me and the belly, Becca (who actually hates babies and thinks pregnancy is kinda creepy :-P ) is excited and thinks its kind of cool to feel him move and see him grow, and Gabriel is just the cutest bigger brother ever. He cares about what I eat and tells me what the baby wants, prevents the belly with lotion and tries to help me up from the sofa haha. He always wants to feel his little brother and talks to him :-)

But I am really curious about who this little boy is :-) He can come out whenever he wants if only we can move first hehe.

Yeah well thats it for now and if we consider how bad I am with my updates you'll probably see our baby boy next time I'll post something :-)

2015- our year :)

And here we go again, way to long ago I wrote something but I was rather busy- as usual ;-)
Lot of work, lot of planning and new things coming up.

Christmas was peacefully with the kids grandparents and new years eve did we spend at home, we woke up Gabriel before 00.00 so that he could enjoy the fireworks (his first so far). He was pretty exited!

Good news for 2015 is that we are expecting our first babyboy 05.05.2015 and just 4 months later its time for us to get married! :-) So as you may understand a lot of paperwork and things to organize, somewhere there between work and being constantly tired, so the first month I didnt really do anything besides working and sleeping haha, and now on my way to my 3rd trimester I am just about to become quite tired again haha.

But so crazy amazing to feel something inside growing, already filled with so much love to get and give :) We cant wait to meet you !

update

oh boy, last update in june? Sorry for that :-P

Well what happend so far? A lot of work, some summer events, more work, one week vacation in september, going up in a windturbine at work, some more work and here we are, end of october :D

Becca moved to Umeå for school so we changed a bit in the apartment, livingroom is bigger now with a 3 meter sofa, our own bedroom and a corner thats kind of Gabriels "room" now :-)
